Lascaux Flash has selected the winners in the contest I entered, and the Gold Medal goes to fellow Rainforest writer Camille Griep. Her story Circumstances is far bigger than its 250 words, and well deserves the honor. I have a piece up in the second annual Lascaux Flash Fiction Contest called Fade. I think this may be my very first thing-not-put-up-on-my-own-site, and I'm both pleased and nervous.

Last year I took part in the Month of Letters, where you commit to writing and mailing at least one letter every day the post operates in February. It was a lot of fun, I love writing letters by hand. The next best thing is getting mail in response, but I enjoy writing letters enough that it is kind of secondary ( Read more... )
